Extractive Capital seeks to invest in those commodities that:
• demonstrate strong forward fundamentals,
• are located in supportive jurisdictions,
• current prices are still depressed relative to the last boom period
• the management team have experience in operating
Extractive Capital Pte Ltd is a Singapore registered company that looks to invest in development assets and link an experienced management team with investors that share a common strategy.
The objective of Extractive Capital is to acquire a suite of operating or near-term producing assets (i.e. within 3 years). Producing assets may be late life – the benefit being immediate cash flow and access to existing plant that may be re-deployed.
Near term assets must demonstrate long life and robust grades/resources so as to ensure profitability through the economic price cycles. Processing must be relatively simple and products should be clean and free of significant harmful elements thereby providing a highly marketable product.
Commodities that are being considered by Extractive Capital include:
• Zinc (Zn)
• Copper (Cu)
• Tungsten (W)
• Potash
• Oil and Gas:
- onshore or shallow water offshore
- located near to existing infrastructure with third party access
- conventional or unconventional
